Competing in his final tournament of the year, he delivered an outstanding performance at the 2024 Lou Cheng Fencing Championships in Taiwan, securing gold in the Under 9 Boys’ Épée category. A huge congratulations to Sherilyn and Nathlie for their outstanding performances at the NUS Fencing Challenge 2024! Sherilyn’s silver medal in the Women’s Épée Individual event was a remarkable achievement, showcasing her skill and determination. Nathlie’s impressive gold medal in the same event added to the team’s success, highlighting her exceptional talent. In the Women’s Épée Team event, Zi Cheng, representing Singapore Polytechnic, secured silver, while Team SGF earned a well-deserved bronze.


In the Men’s Épée Team event, Team SGF earned a fantastic silver medal, consisting of Phua Zee Cher, Ryan Tan, Brandon Goh, and Jaren Ng. Despite many of the athletes rarely being able to train together due to their busy schedules, they demonstrated incredible skill and teamwork. Team SMU, made up of Tim Shee, Teng Fei, and Zheng Yi, won bronze with their stellar performance.


Sherilyn’s dedication also continued as she contributed to the SMU Sabre Team, which earned silver in the Sabre Team event.

Ashley, who, at just 16 years old, showcased incredible skill and determination at the Southeast Asian Fencing Federation (SEAFF) Fencing Championships.
